AfricaCom 2016 – Bridging the connectivity gap

AfricaCom held at Cape Town is the largest and the most influential tech event hosted by South Africa every year ! It is the meeting place for those driving Africa’s digital transformation. The event which took place from 7th-9th November this year,  saw participation from around 10,000 decision makers and network solutions providers from across the globe.

We, at Omoco, are proud to say that our exhibit at AfricaCom 2016 was a part of a lot of interesting conversations. Our GSM network-in-a-box solution captured the interest of a large audience from satellite, voice to ISP providers. Many major players enquired about our solutions and how they could bring about last mile connectivity for large rural and remote areas.

AfricaCom ended on a fun note as the AFEST concert was in full swing! We enjoyed a night of live music and informal networking with a fantastic line-up of artists including Black Coffee, Mi Casa, et al.
